Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to established recipes and standards.

Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and ensure consistency in taste and appearance.
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations following health and safety regulations.
-
Monitor food stock and assist in ordering supplies to avoid shortages or wastage.
-
Ensure all meals are prepared and served in a timely manner to meet employee dining schedules.
-
Work as part of a team, providing support and training to junior kitchen staff when needed.
-
Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
-
Assist with menu planning and special dietary requests under guidance.

Report any kitchen equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Previous kitchen experience, preferably in a large-scale or institutional catering environment.

Basic culinary training or apprenticeship preferred.
-
Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
-
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality food preparation.

Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required.
