Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive sustainability programs and initiatives aligned with the hotel's objectives, industry standards and ACCOR/Ennismore guidelines

Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards, including waste management, energy conservation, water usage, and recycling practices.

Resource Management: Monitor resource consumption (e.g., water, electricity, gas) and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and suppliers to promote sustainability practices and drive awareness throughout the organization.

Ensures that all kitchen & outlets maintain high standards of Food Safety & Hygiene

Enhances guest satisfaction by ensuring high standards of food safety & hygiene in food operations

Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.

Conduct regular risk assessments of hotel operations, facilities, and activities to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • At least 5 years' experience in the sector and impeccable knowledge food safety & hygiene regulations and management
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety management system: HACCP, BRC, Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Management System & ISO. Familiar with BIS, GSO, SASO, codex and USDA standards
  • Dubai municipality approved Basic, Intermediate advanced Food hygiene, HACCP awareness, internal auditor trainer/consultant
  • Dubai municipality approved Person in Charge trainer Level 2 & 3
  • High field approved trainer for HACCP level 4, Advanced food hygiene
  • Relevant certifications and practical experience in sustainability initiatives, health, safety, and hygiene management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and regulatory compliance skills
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and a commitment to promoting a safe and sustainable work environment
