As the Nursing Clinical Lead - Practice Development (Clinical Educator) you will be responsible for delivering specialist clinical and/or nursing services within Emirates Group Medical Services. The focus of this role may include leadership, clinical care, administrative duties, or technical support. As an autonomous practitioner, you will be accountable for the function and outcomes of your role, demonstrating strong critical thinking and decision-making skills relevant to your scope of practice.

In This Role, You Will

  • Liaise with licensing bodies and external authorities (e.g. Dubai Health Authority, Ministry of Health) on clinical (nursing) and technical matters relevant to your role, to maintain strong professional relationships and ensure that services are benchmarked against best practice standards.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate appropriate care delivery to assigned client groups. Collaborate with line managers to develop a clinical nursing framework aligned with the priorities of Emirates Group Medical Services (EGMS).
  • Independently operate nursing clinics or designated service areas for the relevant population, or lead technical and development projects within the scope of your role.
  • Where applicable, perform regular assessments of patients accessing nursing services. Initiate follow-up appointments and refer cases to physicians as appropriate. Maintain effective recall systems and ensure accurate dashboard reporting for your area of responsibility.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by conducting research in nursing and medical practice. Adapt clinical services or technical support to meet evolving service needs, and actively participate in and lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and review of policies and guidelines related to nursing practice and technical clinical support.
  • Design and implement clinical education and professional development programmes aimed at critically evaluating and enhancing workplace practices for nursing and allied health professionals.
  • Act as a clinical role model, ensuring that nursing and allied health staff maintain current competencies required for their roles.
  • Advise Practice Managers and senior clinical operations staff of any competency concerns, enabling timely intervention and resolution.
  • Ensure that all education programmes, including life support training, meet statutory and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and report on agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to practice development and clinical education.

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the below requirements:

  • 3+ Years of role-specific experience
  • Eligible for licensing as Registered Nurse with Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
  • Registered Nurse

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn and develop competency in Primary Care Practice Nursing and Aviation Medicine
