About the Role:
Merqah Foundation is seeking a skilled and strategic HR Supervisor to lead and strengthen our Human Resources operations. This role goes beyond routine HR tasks we re looking for someone who can foster a high-performing work culture, ensure compliance with HR policies, and support the organization s growth and employee engagement goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and standards.
Provide guidance to managers on employee performance, development, and conflict resolution.
Analyze HR data and metrics to support informed decision-making.
Mentor and support the HR team to enhance efficiency and accountability.
Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role.
At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
Previous experience in the nonprofit or charitable sector is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) or Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance standards.
Experience using HR systems and software.
Core Competencies:
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
