Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the confectionery product innovation strategy, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer preferences.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, including recipe development, ingredient sourcing, and production optimization.
- Manage and mentor a team of confectionery professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to strict quality control standards, food safety regulations, and manufacturing best practices throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective product positioning, promotional strategies, and sales forecasts.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and market share growth.
- Manage the confectionery budget, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability through efficient resource allocation and process optimization.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, ingredients, and trends in the confectionery industry, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and packaging materials.
- Drive the implementation of new processes and technologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

- Offers 10+ years of progressive experience within the FMCG confectionery industry, showcasing a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrates comprehensive experience in developing and launching new confectionery products, with a focus on innovation and consumer appeal.
- Exhibits strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop confectionery professionals.
- Possesses a deep understanding of confectionery production processes, including chocolate, candy, and baked goods manufacturing.
- Demonstrates proficiency in recipe development, ingredient selection, and flavor profiling, creating exceptional confectionery products.
- Displays a strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and manufacturing best practices.
- Possesses a keen eye for detail, a passion for confectionery, and a creative mindset, driving innovation and product excellence.
- Exhibits excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, effectively conveying ideas and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
