Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety training for staff.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to align warehouse operations with business goals.
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor equipment and machinery performance, scheduling maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and streamline processes.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Implement inventory control measures, conducting regular audits to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations or supervisory roles within a fast-paced environment.
