Visual & Lights Operator AER Club Dubai

Role Overview The Visual & Lights Operator is responsible for managing all visual content, lighting systems, and live effects during club events. The role ensures high-quality visual experiences synchronized with music and overall club ambiance. Key Responsibilities Visual (VJ) Responsibilities Operate and control LED screens, projectors, and visual systems during live events. Create and manage visual loops, motion graphics, and video content. Sync visuals with DJ sets, music beats, and event themes. Troubleshoot visual equipment and ensure smooth playback. Coordinate with DJs and entertainment team for real-time visual changes. Lighting (LJ) Responsibilities Operate lighting consoles for club lights, moving heads, lasers, strobes, and effects. Program lighting scenes and cues for events, special nights, and artist performances. Ensure lighting is synchronized with audio and visual elements. Perform regular maintenance of lighting equipment. Handle DMX programming and lighting software. General Responsibilities Ensure all AV equipment is functioning before event start. Support technical setup for artists, DJs, and performers. Follow safety and electrical guidelines for equipment handling. Provide immediate solutions to any technical issues during operations. Required Skills & Qualifications 1–4 years of experience as VJ/LJ, Lighting Operator, or related AV role. Hands-on knowledge of VJ softwares (Resolume, MadMapper, ArKaos, etc.). Experience with lighting consoles (MA Lighting, Avolites, etc.). Understanding of DMX controls, LED systems, and audio-visual syncing. Ability to work in nightclub/night shift environment. Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in nightclubs, lounges, concerts, or live events in GCC. Basic video editing/graphic skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro). Knowledge of sound systems is a plus.
