Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure assigned vessels meet required technical standards, performance benchmarks, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain and manage vessel certificates and documentation in a systematic and timely manner
- Implement and monitor the company planned maintenance system effectively
- Prepare, arrange, and manage class, statutory, and other mandatory vessel surveys
- Plan, manage, and supervise dry-docking projects and major repair activities
- Monitor vessel condition and coordinate maintenance and repair works with shipyards and service providers
- Review crew technical performance and promote continuous improvement standards
- Prepare, manage, and control technical budgets for assigned vessels
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth technical operations

Desired Candidate Profile
Tanker seagoing experience as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer with minimum COC Class 2 or 3. Alternatively, at least two years of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent handling oil or bunker tankers. Strong understanding of tanker vessel systems, maintenance, and regulatory requirements. High level of integrity and professional conduct. Strong leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
