Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
You will be instrumental in transforming how the GCC region builds and powers its digital future. You ll not only help customers achieve their technical goals, but you will also shape their strategic vision and turn innovation into tangible results. Your impact will be measured in the success of sustainable AI factories, the efficiency of next-generation data centers, and the long-term relationships you build.
What you ll do
Lead Strategic Customer Engagements
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers and public/private organizations to understand their strategic needs, challenges, and ambitions.
- Translate complex requirements into tailored solution roadmaps that may include design validation, full-stack integration, or infrastructure optimization.
Drive commercial growth
- Lead strategic sales initiatives in the GCC region with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Identify, cultivate, and close opportunities that align with Submer s value proposition around sustainable, scalable infrastructure.
- Monitor industry trends, funding programs (e.g., government -backed AI and digital transformation
Foster cross-collaboration
- Partner closely with the Solution Architect (Pre-Sales) and cross-functional teams (Design & Build, R&D, Marketing, AI Cloud, Customer Support) to co-develop proposals that deliver business value, not just technology.
- Align regional initiatives with Submer s global strategy, ensuring consistent execution and messaging.
- Provide structured feedback to product and R&D teams based on customer and market needs.
Build long-term partnerships and market presence
- Establish and nurture enduring relationships with customers, strategic partners, and ecosystem players.
- Support customers beyond the sale to ensure long-term success and expand collaboration opportunities.
- Represent Submer at key industry events, forums, and government initiatives to strengthen brand presence in the Kingdom.
What you ll need
- Proven track record in consultative, strategic sales within the data center, cloud, or IT infrastructure industries in the GCC region with previous experience working in Saudi Arabia.
- Deep understanding of data center ecosystems, including design, integration, sustainability, and performance optimization.
- Experience working on large-scale, high-impact projects (e.g., regional deployments, hyperscale data centers, government-funded initiatives) in the GCC region.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence C-level decision makers.
- Analytical and system-thinking mindset with an ability to uncover opportunities through dialogue and data.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic

Whether it s optimizing existing infrastructure, validating ambitious plans, or co-designing greenfield deployments (such as those fueled by AI gigafactory initiatives), you will be at the heart of shaping tomorrow s data infrastructure.
