Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise joinery site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of work.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Manage and train joinery staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
  • Review and approve joinery designs and shop drawings, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels of materials and coordinate procurement as needed to maintain workflow.
  • Address any issues or challenges on site promptly to avoid delays in project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including labor, materials, and costs, to ensure efficient resource management.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on site to ensure a safe working environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in joinery or woodworking projects.
  • Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
