Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Human Resources Officer will be a member of the Cairo Human Resources team. He/she will be responsible of tracking the delivery of high-quality Human Resources services across Egypt and of coordinating closely with the Human Resources Department. The jobholder will also be accountable for the provision of comprehensive guidance on all HR matters, playing a leading role in managing employee relations and in the implementation of the employee performance management process.
- Provide interpretation and advisory services on the various HR policies and local labor laws to employees at all levels of the organization to ensure consistent and equitable implementation of the latter.
- Maintain organized manual and electronic filing systems for employee documents.
- Manage employee affairs and prepare legal documents.
- Manage the time attendance system and generate attendance reports.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
- Handle insurance claims and employee inquiries related to insurance coverage through liaising between employees and the insurance company and negotiating best rates and business terms.
- Support in the development and revision of job descriptions.
- Perform talent acquisition activities for entry to mid-level positions by posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting telephone interviews, preparing offer letters and processing background checks.
- Ensure proper orientation for all new hires and coordinate with the relevant parties for induction training.
- Administer the performance appraisal process in accordance with policies, guidelines, and forms.
- Arrange workstations and offices for new joiners and internal transfers as needed.
- Organize recruitment events and summer internship programs.
- Facilitate the delivery in and enrolment into training courses.
- Develop Human Resources statistics and reports as requested.
- Perform other ad-hoc HR duties as required.
- Bachelor s degree in business management, Human Resources Management or relevant discipline
- Professional certification in Human Resources is an added value
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to details
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Excellent coordination skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- In-depth knowledge of the Egyptian Labor Law
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Human Resources
