Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a multi-skilled Senior ELV Technician with extensive hands-on experience in security systems and telecommunications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end installation, programming, and maintenance of CCTV, Biometric Access Control, and PBX Telephone systems.
Core Technical Responsibilities
1. Access Control Systems,
Installation of electromagnetic locks (EM locks), drop bolts, and exit buttons.
Programming of Biometric (Fingerprint/Face ID) and RFID card readers.
Integration of Access Control with Fire Alarm systems and Time & Attendance software.
2. PBX & Telephony
-Installation and configuration of Analog and IP-PBX systems (e.g., Panasonic, Avaya, Yeastar, or Grandstream).
- Terminating telephone cables (MDF/IDF) and configuring extensions, IVR, and hunt groups.
- Troubleshooting dial-tone issues and VOIP connectivity.
3. Advanced CCTV
- Comprehensive setup of IP and Analog surveillance.
- Advanced network configuration (VLANs for security traffic) and remote monitoring setup.
4- Experience Requirements
-Proven Track Record:
- At least 4–6 years of experience specifically installing and maintaining these three core systems.
5-Technical Mastery:
- Ability to read architectural blueprints and wiring schematics.
-Tools:
- Proficiency in using wire trackers, punch-down tools, crimpers, and network testers.
- Cable Management:
- Expert level in dressing racks and ensuring neat, labeled cabling in DB rooms.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong problem-solving skills—must be able to troubleshoot "on the fly." Excellent communication skills for client training and handovers.
Experience with Hikvision and Panasonic PBX preferred.
