Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager with proven experience in logistics and freight forwarding and strong knowledge of Dubai and UAE Free Zones. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth across air, sea, and land freight services.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain solutions.
Generate leads through market research, cold calling, meetings, and networking.
Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers across Dubai mainland and all UAE Free Zones.
Understand client logistics requirements and propose customized solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for key customers.
3. Free Zone & Local Market Knowledge
Strong understanding of UAE Free Zones such as JAFZA, DAFZA, DMCC, SAIF Zone, RAKEZ, Dubai South, etc.
Knowledge of Free Zone vs Mainland logistics processes, documentation, and regulations.
Coordinate shipments involving Free Zone to Mainland and Free Zone to Free Zone movements.
4. Pricing & Coordination
Work closely with the pricing and operations teams to prepare competitive quotations.
Negotiate rates and service terms with customers while ensuring profitability.
Follow up on quotations and close deals efficiently.
5. Reporting & CRM
Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and forecasts in CRM systems.
Prepare regular sales reports and market feedback for management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in logistics or freight forwarding in the UAE.
Mandatory experience dealing with Dubai market and UAE Free Zones.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight (FCL/LCL), land transport, customs clearance, and warehousing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to close deals and build a strong client base.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused.
