Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The main contractor located in UAE requires an experienced Project Manager with excellent experience in multiple projects with Main Contractors. You will be responsible for managing the projects along with the site project manager, from the outset of construction till final handover to the Employer/Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Manage and track project budgets, including cost estimation and control.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Procure and manage materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during construction.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports and other documentation to clients.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the client's satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience working with reliable Main Contractors on lengthy project assignments and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a similar discipline with minimum of 10 years of UAE experience.
  • Experience as a Project Manager.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
