Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate vendors for interior fit-out materials, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budget constraints.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, aiming for the best value while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
  • Manage the procurement process for all interior fit-out items, from initial request to final delivery and installation.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from vendors, ensuring compliance with design intent and technical standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and interior designers to ensure smooth integration of procured items.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of installations and address any procurement-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the procurement process, such as supply chain disruptions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and new products related to interior fit-out, and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and project updates.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement within the interior fit-out industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing procurement for large-scale interior fit-out projects.
  • Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with contract law and procurement regulations is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
