Position Overviewbr>Principal Drainage Engineer Design role in Dubai leading complex drainage and stormwater engineering for civil and transport infrastructure projects at Parsons Corporation. This role provides technical leadership, advanced hydrological and hydraulic analysis, and delivery of authority-compliant designs across multidisciplinary programs.br>
Key Responsibilitiesbr>
* Lead civil and transport infrastructure drainage design for complex projectsbr>* Perform detailed analysis and review of hydrological and hydraulic modelsbr>* Provide technical expertise for drainage and stormwater quality systems including piped networks and major transverse drainage structuresbr>* Deliver hydraulic and system designs tailored to site-specific requirementsbr>* Apply biological and physical stormwater management principles in design solutionsbr>* Introduce innovative approaches, digital delivery methods, and value engineering solutionsbr>* Supervise, mentor, and support intermediate and junior engineersbr>* Undertake hydrologic modeling, calculations, drawings, reports, design reviews, and supervisionbr>* Lead projects with high accountability, build strong client relationships, and obtain design approvalsbr>* Coordinate closely with CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling teams to ensure integrated deliverybr>
Skills Setbr>
* Strong knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics principlesbr>* Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools including SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and Infoworks ICM 1D and 2Dbr>* Advanced capability with GIS and CAD tools such as ArcMap, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStationbr>* Strong mathematical skills for developing calculation sheets and validating designsbr>* Knowledge of Water Sensitive Design and Sustainable Drainage Systemsbr>* Excellent written and verbal communication skillsbr>* Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineersbr>

* Bachelor s degree in Civil, Hydraulic, or Environmental Engineering* Minimum 15 years of experience in water engineering, including stormwater drainage design for civil and transport projectsbr>* Minimum 9 years of regional experience with strong familiarity with Dubai Municipality standardsbr>* Demonstrated leadership experience on complex drainage and infrastructure projectsbr>* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within defined timelines
