Job Description

We are seeking a lawyer who will be responsible for legal support and negotiations with game publishers, event organizers, broadcasting companies, and sponsors in the field of video game licensing, media rights, and partnership agreements related to esports events (with a focus on video games).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in negotiations and drafting contracts with Russian and international game publishers, including licensing, sublicensing, and derivative rights for intellectual property.
  • Engage in negotiations and drafting Media Rights deals (broadcasting, OTT, streaming, and VOD) in both Russian and international markets.
  • Conclude sponsorship and partnership agreements while ensuring compliance with governmental requirements and brand recommendations.
  • Provide consultation on the use of third-party intellectual rights in advertising materials, content broadcasting, and event organization.
  • Prepare user agreements, privacy policies, terms of personal data processing, and cookie policies.


Qualifications

  • Higher legal education.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of Intellectual Property (experience in video game licensing will be an advantage).
  • Overall legal work experience of at least 5 years.
  • Proficiency in English at a C1 level.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Developed managerial skills.
  • Experience in esports.
  • Independence and responsibility, ability and willingness to manage complex legal projects, ability to work in a team, and a desire for continuous professional development.
