Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate mechanical components, equipment, and services, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality to ensure project success.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, leveraging strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable terms and conditions and maximize cost savings.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations, monitoring key metrics such as on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required, providing a strong technical foundation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical procurement, demonstrating a proven track record of successful sourcing and negotiation.
  • Possession of relevant certifications like CIPS or CPSM is highly desirable, showcasing a commitment to professional development.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Manufacturing industries is preferred, offering specialized industry knowledge.
