Roles & Responsibilities
We are hiring a Marketplace Growth and Product Sourcing Executive to help us build a profitable Noon and Amazon business in the UAE market. This is a full time role with a hybrid work mode (remote plus on-site in UAE). Salary will be announced and aligned with experience and performance, with additional performance based incentives. ABOUT THE ROLE The role combines product research, supplier sourcing, listing optimisation and performance tracking. You will think like an owner, focus on profit, and help build systems and processes from scratch. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Product Research and Validation • Research and identify high demand, low competition products suitable for the UAE market. • Focus on a small number of “hero” products with low selling price, high profit margin and long term demand. • Analyse marketplace fees (Noon, Amazon), landed cost per unit, target selling price and expected profit per unit. • Prepare simple reports for each product including estimated demand, competitors, expected monthly sales and profit after all costs. 2. Supplier Sourcing and Negotiation • Find and contact suppliers and wholesalers in the UAE and internationally when required. • Request quotations with clear price per quantity tier, minimum order quantities and delivery timelines. • Negotiate the best possible price per unit while maintaining quality standards. • Build and maintain a supplier database with product lists, prices, contact details and reliability notes. 3. Noon and Amazon Listing and Optimisation • Create and optimise product listings on Noon (UAE focus) and Amazon. • Write titles, key points and descriptions according to marketplace rules. • Use basic marketplace SEO (keywords and search terms). • Coordinate with designers or photographers for product images when needed and ensure they meet platform requirements. • Set pricing and promotions in line with market prices and target margins. • Monitor performance (sales, returns, reviews) and suggest actions to improve conversion and profitability. 4. Growth and Performance Tracking • Start with organic growth (no ads at the beginning). • After products show results, support basic ads and sponsored campaigns on platforms. • Track and report sales and profit per product, best sellers and underperformers, and the impact of price or listing changes. SUCCESS INDICATORS (EXAMPLES) • Within the first 90 days: identify and validate 3 to 5 hero product opportunities and launch at least 2 to 3 products on Noon UAE. • Within 6 months: achieve consistent monthly profit from Noon and Amazon, maintain or improve target profit margins and build a reliable supplier base with improved pricing.
Desired Candidate Profile
REQUIRED PROFILE Must have • 6 to 24 months of experience in e commerce or marketplaces such as Noon, Amazon or similar platforms. • Basic understanding of marketplace fees and commissions. • Ability to calculate profit per unit (buying cost, shipping, fees and selling price). • Comfortable with online product research and competitor analysis. • Able to compare supplier quotations and evaluate total landed cost. • Confident using spreadsheets or simple tools to track products, prices and margins. Nice to have • Experience with Noon Express or Amazon FBA or FBN style models. • Knowledge of UAE consumer behaviour and product trends. • Arabic language skills for dealing with local suppliers (advantage but not mandatory). • Experience with social selling channels such as TikTok, Instagram or WhatsApp. Personality and work style • Thinks like a mini owner and focuses on profit and long term value, not just tasks. • Comfortable working in a growing business with low initial infrastructure. • Data driven and makes decisions based on numbers. • Proactive, detail oriented and able to manage multiple products and suppliers at once.
