Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an insightful and detail-oriented Market Research Analyst to join our strategy and marketing team. The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help the company understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics. This role provides key insights that guide strategic decisions related to product development, marketing, and business growth. The ideal candidate is data-driven, curious, and passionate about transforming information into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather data on market trends, customer behavior, and industry developments
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to uncover insights and identify opportunities for growth
- Design surveys, focus groups, and data collection methodologies to support business objectives
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and strategic implications for leadership teams
- Track and analyze competitors products, pricing, marketing activities, and positioning in the market
- Develop forecasts and market models to support business planning and strategy development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in marketing, product, and sales to integrate research insights into decision-making
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and customer acquisition strategies using performance data
- Maintain databases of market intelligence, economic indicators, and industry benchmarks
- Stay informed about emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies in market research and analytics
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- Master s degree preferred but not required
Experience
- 2 5 years of experience in market research, business analysis, or data analytics
- Experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative research studies
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, market segmentation, and consumer behavior principles
Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, SPSS, R, or other statistical software
- Experience with survey tools such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or Google Forms
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex insights clearly
- Strong project management and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specific industries such as technology, healthcare, consumer goods, or financial services
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing analytics platforms
- Understanding of brand tracking, market sizing, and forecasting methodologies
- Exposure to customer journey analysis or user research
