Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming areas to ensure guest safety at all times
- Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, or swimmers in distress and respond immediately
- Apply appropriate rescue techniques and provide first response assistance when required
- Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive
- Enforce pool rules and promote safe use of recreation facilities
- Maintain a welcoming and calm poolside environment for guests
- Handle towels according to procedures including distribution, folding, and storage
- Clean and maintain pool decks and surrounding areas to safety and hygiene standards
- Inspect equipment and facilities to identify defects or hazards
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly
- Follow safety, security, and operational procedures consistently
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Physically fit to respond quickly, lift equipment, and remain active for extended periods
- Alert, responsible, and confident in guest-facing situations
