Job Title: Junior Key Account Manager

Company: MAPYR - Master Distributor of Leading Baby and Children’s Brands

Location: Dubai South

Job Brief:

We are looking for a skilled Junior Key Account Manager who will be responsible for developing and growing HORECA channel within the business, as well as identifying new Business Opportunities within existing and new accounts of Mapyr customer portfolio.

Ideal candidate should be result driven with proven track record of achieving sales target and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:


HORECA Business Development (60%)

  • Identify new business opportunities and acquire new clients in the HORECA segment
  • Generating leads and reaching out to prospects (Horeca , Nurseries, Hospitals)
  • Build strong relationships with HORECA accounts ; ability to understand potential customer’s needs and serve them accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare customized catalogues and negotiation tools for HORECA market and customers.
  • Formulate business proposals, quotations according to customers’ business needs.
  • Regular reporting on prospective customers, pipeline, market trends and competitors.
  • Build & manage own database of the clients and update tracker with each lead and prospects.
  • Creating and maintaining customer relationship database for marketing mailers.
  • Conducting regular face to face customer meetings and product presentation.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing , quantities and specifications.
  • Create proposals and make bids for pre-opening hotels.
  • Manage customer expectation & deliverables.
  • Achieve sales targets specific to HORECA sector
  • Work with KAM to implement strategies and route to market.
  • Attend Trade shows, fair & events related to HORECA.
  • Analyse customer sales data by region to support the KAM in developing sales action plans (e.g., YOY, YTD, growth).

Business Development New Channels (40%)

  • Support the Key Account Manager in identify new business leads for new channels & with existing accounts
  • Client relationship support and follow up : Assist in managing communication with new and existing customers, prepare customer presentation, order proposal and follow up on orders
  • Conduct market research to understand market trends and competitors
  • Collaborate with the Key Account Manager to manage the sales pipelines, ensure follow-up on leads and opportunities
  • Administrative support to manage customer documentations, records, and actions follow up

Skills, Qualifications, and Experiences:

  • Minimum 2- 3 yrs sales experience preferably in HORECA sector.
  • Ability to prospect new client via physical visit and with use of Linkedin Networking.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Arabic. Valid driving license.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for active listening, effective presentations, and engaging with diverse individuals.
  • Fast learner, Team player and goal oriented.
  • High integrity coupled with effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Graduation / Diploma in business management or relevant field
  • Exceptional sales and customer service skills
  • Skilled at negotiation and problem-solving
  • Experience of working in the Middle East region
