Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems annually.
- Manage and administer email, virtual servers, and cloud services proficiently.
- Implement security measures to safeguard information and systems effectively.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and contribute to IT policies.
- Provide technical support to end-users resolving hardware and software issues.
- Conduct regular backups and recovery operations to prevent data loss.
- Ensure compliance with legal and organizational policies and standards.
- Collaborate with IT team members to improve system processes and performance.
- Analyze and resolve problems related to network infrastructure and systems.
- Train staff and users to enhance technical knowledge and efficiency.
- Participate in technological planning and development processes actively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT administration or similar technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and system management.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and end-users.
- Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies is preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, A+, or Microsoft Certified are an advantage.
