Roles & Responsibilities
What You ll Do
- Independently develop and supervise irrigation and landscape engineering designs that meet client and project requirements
- Define project scope, establish budgets, and prepare work schedules in coordination with project managers
- Deliver technical outputs including calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design packages, proposal evaluations, and detailed reports
- Oversee installation and supervision of pipelines, chambers, pumping stations, and non-disruptive road crossings
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to CAD drafters, designers, and junior engineers
- Manage emergency works and coordinate effectively with public stakeholders and local authorities
- Advise clients on optimal irrigation systems, materials, and sustainable water management solutions
- Supervise on-site construction to ensure compliance with design standards and sustainability principles
- Monitor project progress, report technical issues, and ensure alignment with contractual and safety standards
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary projects as part of Parsons infrastructure and landscape engineering team
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering with focus on irrigation or horticulture
- At least 8 years of experience in irrigation and landscape design, construction, and supervision
- Strong knowledge of Dubai s infrastructure networks and authority requirements
- Proven track record in pipelines, chambers, pumping stations, and utility coordination works
- Familiarity with emergency works and ability to liaise with public stakeholders and government agencies
- Strong advisory skills in sustainable irrigation systems and water feature design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Word, and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare technical reports and client presentations
