About the Role

We are seeking a Credit Risk professional with strong expertise in Basel guidelines and regulatory capital requirements. The role involves working on capital adequacy, regulatory compliance, ICAAP, IRRBB, and stress testing projects, with focus on credit risk frameworks. This is a client-facing, onsite role in the Middle East, ideal for professionals interested in a long-term international assignment (IOA).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews/audits of Credit Risk frameworks under Basel II / Basel III.
• Evaluate Minimum Capital Requirements and Capital Adequacy related to Credit Risk.
• Work on ICAAP, IRRBB, stress testing from a Credit Risk perspective.
• Review and validate Credit Risk policies, processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Support Capital & Liquidity Management audits with a Credit Risk lens.
• Deliver high-quality reports, findings, and recommendations to clients.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-8 years of experience in Credit Risk Management or Internal Audit (Credit Risk focus) within BFSI/Consulting.
• Strong understanding of Basel II / Basel III norms for Credit Risk.
• Practical exposure to RWA (Risk Weighted Assets), ICAAP, IRRBB, stress testing, regulatory capital reporting.
• Experience in credit policy, portfolio risk, risk governance, or credit risk audits.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Professional certifications like CIA, FRM, CFA (Risk focus), or equivalent audit/risk credentials preferred.
• Postgraduate / Graduate in Finance, Risk, Accounting, or related fields.
