Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons tailored to the GRE, GMAT, SAT, and UCAT curricula, ensuring students grasp core concepts and advanced problem-solving strategies.
  • Develop and curate comprehensive course materials, including practice questions, quizzes, and mock tests, aligned with the latest exam patterns and difficulty levels.
  • Maintain regular records of student performances in internal tests and track their actual exam scores. Regularly share the same in an excel sheet on a weekly basis to the faculty heads and management
  • Provide personalized feedback and guidance to students on their strengths and weaknesses, offering targeted support to improve their performance.
  • Analyze student performance data to identify areas needing improvement and adjust teaching methods accordingly for optimal learning outcomes.
  • Conduct regular practice sessions and mock exams under timed conditions, simulating the actual test environment and building test-taking confidence.
  • Stay updated on the latest changes in the GRE, GMAT, SAT, and UCAT exams, incorporating new content and question types into the curriculum.
  • Create a supportive and motivating classroom environment, fostering student engagement and encouraging active participation.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to share best practices, develop new teaching strategies, and enhance the overall quality of the program.
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to students needing additional assistance, helping them overcome specific challenges and achieve their target scores.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the administration regarding student progress, concerns, and program updates.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrates at least 2-3 years of experience teaching or tutoring mathematics for GRE, GMAT, SAT, or UCAT, illustrating practical application of knowledge.
  • Exhibits proficiency in using online teaching platforms and educational software (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards), ensuring effective online instruction.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of test-taking strategies, including time management, question analysis, and effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to clearly explain complex concepts and build rapport with students.
  • Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Shows a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
