Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage all engineering and maintenance operations for the property
Oversee building systems including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and life safety systems
Manage engineering budgets, capital expenditure projects, and preventive maintenance programs
Drive energy conservation initiatives and cost-efficient facility operations
Develop specifications, manage service contracts, and supervise contractors and vendors
Plan and oversee renovations, upgrades, and new construction projects within budget and timelines
Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms, public areas, grounds, and recreational facilities
Maintain asset protection plans and long-term preventive maintenance strategies
Manage inventory, procurement, and replacement of equipment, supplies, and furnishings
Lead emergency response readiness for all facility-related issues
Build effective relationships with local authorities, fire prevention bureaus, and external partners
Review guest feedback and collaborate with leadership to improve service performance

Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or GED with at least three years of experience in engineering and maintenance, plus technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, or plumbing
Or a two-year degree in building and construction, engineering, mechanics, or related field with at least one year of relevant experience and technical training
Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams in hospitality or similar environments
Strong knowledge of life safety systems, regulatory compliance, and asset management
