Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors flights regularly with a focus on low-capacity flights with high cargo demand to ensure that the maximum volume of cargo is uplifted.
  • Maintains and enhances good communication flow across the departments to ensure stakeholders are equipped, well informed and up to date with the operational activity.
  • Supports cargo handling tasks within any of flydubai cargo internal/external warehouses, ramp and cargo aircraft activities, including and not limited to build-up, breakdown, delivery and customer service related issues.
  • Performs assigned tasks in line with company Standard Operating Procedures, safety, security and specific airline procedures.
  • Retrieves and stores cargo with particular emphasis on the best practice handling of Dangerous Goods, valuables, Perishables, Courier, Live Animals, Diplomatic Mail.
  • Monitors the activities on various warehouse floor locations and assists with tracing and repacking activities, when required.
  • Handles Quick Ramp Transfer Cargo product in a timely manner whilst reporting irregularities immediately to the shift Senior Officers.
  • Communicates landside and airside activities between cargo and airside loading team.
  • Completes and updates cargo inventory including Unit Loading Devices (ULD) accessories and thermal blankets.
  • Supports the team on shift to supervise the GHA (Ground Handling Agent) activities and assists Cargo Officers with warehouse and ramp reports.
  • Controls export and import processes by ensuring the shipments are transferred, delivered on time, correct priority are given to shipments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Years with qualifications: 2 - 4 years
  • Dangerous Goods Regulations (CBTA 7.3A preferred) UAE Driving License

ISR REQUIREMENTS

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
