The Commis 3 Pastry supports the pastry team in preparing and producing high-quality desserts, pastries, and bakery items. This is an entry-level position focused on learning, maintaining basic production tasks, and ensuring consistency in a fast-paced hotel kitchen environment.

Assist in the preparation of basic pastry items such as doughs, batters, creams, sauces, and garnishes.

Support Chef de Partie/Pastry Cook in the creation of desserts for buffets, la carte, banquets, and room service.

Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and production schedules.

Help with baking, assembling, and finishing pastry products under supervision.

Ensure all pastry items meet hotel quality and presentation standards.

Maintain proper taste, texture, and appearance for all products prepared.

Properly store and label ingredients, baked goods, and semi-finished products.

Assist in daily mise-en-place preparation for pastry sections.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and tools.

Follow HACCP and food safety standards at all times.

Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients.

Prior internship or entry-level kitchen experience preferred (not mandatory).

Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.

Strong sense of hygiene, safety, and organization.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
