Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Engineer specializing in Fuel and Lubricant Additives to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work on developing and enhancing additives that improve the performance, efficiency, and environmental impact of fuels and lubricants. This role is integral to our innovation pipeline and crucial in meeting the burgeoning global demand for environmentally-friendly fuel solutions and high-performance lubricants. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of chemical formulations, experience in research and development, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive projects from conception to commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development of new and existing fuel and lubricant additives.
- Design experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to guide product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product viability and efficacy.
- Optimize formulation and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations in all developments.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate competitor products and technology trends to identify market opportunities.
- Provide technical support and product training to sales and marketing teams.
- Manage and oversee laboratory testing procedures to validate product designs.
- Contribute to patents and intellectual property documents as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and industry best practices.
- Support business development initiatives with technical expertise and insight.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fuel and lubricant additive development.
- Strong understanding of chemical formulation and product development processes.
- Proven track record of successful project management and innovation delivery.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for fuel and lubricants.
- Excellent analytical, technical writing, and presentation skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
