Roles & Responsibilities
CAMO Planning Engineer
Dubai
Volantes Technical Recruitment have an incredible opportunity for a CAMO Planning Engineer to join one of our leading clients in Dubai!
Main Responsibilities:
Maintenance Planning:
- Review aircraft technical logs (ATL).
- Prepare line/base maintenance work packs and liaise with the AMO.
- Ensure compliance with the Aircraft Maintenance Programme.
- Update work packs based on changes in plans or regulations.
- Determining the maintenance check flight requirements.
- Review completed work packs.
- Certify aircraft maintenance status reports and due lists.
- Compile and certify documents for initial CoR, CoA, and ARC.
- Update aircraft logbooks and M&E tracking system for maintenance, defects, parts, and ADs.
- Manage variations to scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Act as on-site contact for major maintenance at third-party facilities.
- Deputise for the Planning Manager when needed.
Technical Services:
- Review technical publications (ADs, SBs, SILs).
- Assess and manage modifications; participate in Mod Review Board.
- Maintain aircraft configuration in M&E system.
- Control repairs and liaise with OEMs and STC/TC holders.
- Review records for new aircraft induction and delivery.
- Manage Maintenance Planning Files and schedule related tasks.
Maintenance Programme Control:
- Write AMPs for new aircraft types.
- Periodically review AMP effectiveness using reliability data.
- Revise AMP based on updates to regulations or experience.
- Submit and incorporate approved AMP revisions.
- Control pre/transit/post-flight inspection procedures.
- Ensure RVSM requirements are included.
Reliability Monitoring:
- Collect, process, and report monthly reliability data.
- Analyze reliability trends and adjust AMP.
- Join Reliability Review Board meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years experience in continuing airworthiness.
- Strong knowledge of GCAA CAR M and S-1.CAMO.
- Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or AME Licence.
- Familiarisation training on relevant aircraft types; Level 3 training on B737, B747, or B777 required.
- Knowledge of low utilization maintenance programs.
- Skilled in technical publication assessment and M&E systems.
- English proficiency, strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years experience in continuing airworthiness (ARC, Tech Services, Reliability).
- VIP aircraft experience.
- Certified in and experienced with reliability monitoring.
- Type certified and experienced on B737, B747, and B777.
- Deep understanding of EASA Part-M and Part-CAMO.
- Experience with AMOS or Rusada Envision.
- Familiarity with electronic workflow systems, technical writing, and project management.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
