Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expertly cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat, ensuring optimal presentation and quality for customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Skillfully debone, portion, and grind meats as requested by customers, showcasing a strong understanding of different cuts.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding meat selection, preparation methods, and cooking techniques.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on culinary arts or meat processing preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a butcher shop, grocery store, or meat processing facility.
Certification in food safety or meat handling is a strong advantage, demonstrating commitment to industry standards.
Ability to operate various butchering tools and machinery safely and effectively, showcasing technical proficiency.
Listen carefully and understand customer needs
Speak politely and respectfully at all times
