Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of BIM execution plans to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate and manage the integration of various BIM software platforms, ensuring seamless data exchange among project stakeholders.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on BIM models to maintain accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Facilitate training sessions for project teams on best practices in BIM usage, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and improve project workflows.
- Maintain documentation of BIM processes and protocols, serving as a reference for both current and future projects.
- Assist in the preparation of BIM deliverables for project submissions, ensuring timely and precise completion.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, offering solutions to mitigate risks associated with BIM implementation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related inquiries, providing expert guidance to both internal teams and external clients.
- Stay current with technological advancements in BIM and recommend software upgrades or new tools that can enhance productivity.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in design principles.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in BIM coordination within the AEC industry, demonstrating practical knowledge.
- Proven expertise in software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, showcasing technical proficiency.
- Industry certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit or similar, validating skills and knowledge.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and project management principles, reflecting a holistic view of project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered an asset for diverse project teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, ensuring high-quality outcomes in complex project scenarios.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and workflows, showing a commitment to lifelong learning in the BIM realm.
- Creative thinking and innovation in approaching challenges, contributing to efficient and effective project solutions.
