Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Node.js, Express.js/NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Integrate and manage multiple payment gateways (credit/debit cards, wallets, UPI, QR, POS).
- Ensure robust API security using OAuth2.0, JWT, OCSP stapling, and HTTPS headers.
- Implement containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Work with Azure components – Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Redis, Functions, Event Hub, and Service Bus.
- Design and deploy scalable APIs and backend solutions on Azure.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Act as a technical consultant and mentor for team members.
- Integrate with external services using JSON/XML APIs.
- Apply deep understanding of payment domain concepts – authorization, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, refunds, and PCI DSS compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience in FinTech, eCommerce, or Loyalty Platforms.
- Exposure to AI-driven fraud or anomaly detection systems.
- Familiarity with offline payment flows (POS, kiosks, QR terminals).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
