Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic, user-centric websites and web applications that are robust, scalable, and secure. This role requires a strong command of both front-end and back-end development technologies, as well as in-depth knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases. The Web Developer ensures seamless integration between the user interface and data layers, delivering efficient digital solutions that meet business and user requirements.


∙ Develop, test, and maintain responsive and scalable web applications.

∙ Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage data flow between the front-end and database.

∙ Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high quality solutions.

∙ Integrate APIs and third-party services as needed.

∙ Troubleshoot and debug code, perform regular code reviews, and ensure security best practices are followed.

∙ Optimize website performance, scalability, and data integrity.

∙ Document code and system architecture.


∙ Authorized to develop, test, and deploy web applications within the approved project scope and schedule.

∙ Authorized to design database schemas, write queries, and integrate approved third-party APIs and services.

∙ Empowered to identify, report, and resolve bugs or performance issues in coordination with the project team.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

∙ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Training:

∙ Frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

∙ Backend development (Node.js, PHP, Python, etc.)

∙ Database management (SQL/NoSQL)

∙ Secure coding and performance optimization

∙ Git/version control

Experience:

∙ Proven hands-on experience in full-stack web development

∙ Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain responsive and scalable applications ∙ Experience in integrating APIs and managing data flow between front-end and databases ∙ Working knowledge of RESTful API design and integration

∙ Familiarity with HSE-compliant secure development practices (an advantage)
