Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor & Inventory Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of a warehouse facility. This position demands a strategic thinker who can efficiently manage both the workforce and the inventory to optimize operations. The ideal candidate will possess remarkable leadership abilities and have a thorough understanding of warehouse management procedures. They will be tasked with coordinating logistics and day-to-day organizational tasks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the on-time dispatch of goods. Additionally, they will reinforce safety procedures, manage supply chain resources, and troubleshoot any issues that might arise within the warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor & Inventory Manager will serve as the bridge between the staff and senior management, thereby requiring excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations, including staff oversight and scheduling.
  • Implement efficient inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.
  • Coordinate and optimize logistics operations to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage replenishment processes against future demand forecasts.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for warehouse staff to improve operational skills.
  • Generate and analyze operational reports to identify areas for process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and other departments about warehouse operations.
  • Address and resolve any inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Plan and organize the layout of the warehouse to maximize space utilization.
  • Maintain an effective and updated record-keeping system for inventory transactions.
  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve productivity targets and efficiency.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures and inventory control metrics.
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with strategic planning skills.
