Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior User Researcher to lead research initiatives that drive product direction and customer success. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to deeply understand complex user needs, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and shape the future of our customer experiences. This role requires expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence product strategy at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end research initiatives: Define, plan, and conduct research studies using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to inform product strategy and design decisions.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment: Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business leaders to identify research needs and align findings with business objectives.
  • Build deep customer empathy: Develop a strong understanding of our B2B and B2C customer segments, user roles, workflows, and pain points across the buyer and user journey.
  • Communicate insights effectively: Synthesize research findings into compelling stories and actionable insights; present to stakeholders through reports, workshops, and presentations.
  • Influence product development: Translate user insights into clear recommendations that shape product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and design improvements.
  • Promote a research culture: Mentor designers and researchers, evangelize best practices, and help scale user research processes within the organization.
  • Leverage data: Work with analytics, sales, and customer success teams to triangulate insights and validate findings with usage data and feedback.
  • Ensure research quality: Maintain high standards of research rigor, ethics, and relevance, especially when working with complex or sensitive enterprise environments.

What You ll Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience conducting user research in a product or design context, with a strong focus on B2B or enterprise products.
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Design, or related field.
  • Expertise in qualitative research (e.g., interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing) and solid working knowledge of quantitative methods (e.g., surveys, data analysis).
  • Proven experience influencing product decisions and business outcomes through actionable research insights.
  • Strong understanding of user behavior, complex workflows, and multi-stakeholder ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills tailored to technical and executive audiences alike.
  • Proficiency with research tools such as Maze, UserTesting, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, and others.
  • Experience working in agile product development teams and fast-paced environments.
  • Bonus: Experience working with B2B SaaS platforms, Real-estate, data-intensive tools, or regulated industries.
