Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Designing personalized travel itineraries that align with clients' preferences, budgets, and interests while maximizing their travel experience.
- Researching and recommending destinations, accommodations, and activities that enrich clients’ journeys, ensuring unique and memorable experiences.
- Handling bookings for flights, hotels, and rental cars with attention to detail to avoid any discrepancies.
- Providing expert advice on travel regulations, including visa requirements, health precautions, and local customs to ensure smooth travel.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends and emerging destinations to offer fresh and exciting options to clients.
- Resolving client issues and complaints promptly, demonstrating exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Utilizing travel software and reservation systems efficiently to streamline the booking process and enhance productivity.
- Developing strong relationships with clients to understand their travel preferences and to encourage repeat business.
- Networking with suppliers and travel service providers to negotiate better rates and exclusive deals for clients.
- Conducting post-trip follow-ups to gather feedback, address concerns, and build lasting client loyalty.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field preferred to ensure a strong foundational knowledge of the industry.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the travel industry, showcasing a proven track record of successful client engagements.
- Experience with global distribution systems (GDS) like Amadeus or Sabre, essential for efficient bookings and itinerary management.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language to cater to diverse clientele.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly and effectively to clients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client itineraries and bookings simultaneously.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in bookings and compliance with client requests.
- A passion for travel and cultural exploration, enabling the consultant to share genuine insights and recommendations.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing travel environment.
