Roles & Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Electric systems including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, fire alarms, and related electrical systems. The ideal candidate should also possess a valid driver’s license and be able to support transportation needs.

Key Responsibilities:1. ELV Systems Installation & Maintenance:

  • Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, video intercom, fire alarm, and intruder alarm systems.
  • Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance of installed systems.
  • Terminate and test network cables and wiring (CAT6, coaxial, etc.).
  • Ensure all systems comply with safety and industry standards.

2. CCTV & Security System Duties:

  • Install and configure analog/IP CCTV cameras and NVR/DVR systems.
  • Troubleshoot camera failures, video storage issues, and connectivity problems.
  • Monitor and test system performance and adjust settings as necessary.

3. Alarm Systems:

  • Install, program, and maintain fire alarm and intruder alarm systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in alarm panels, detectors, and control systems.
  • Ensure system integrity and test alarms according to safety protocols.

4. Electrical Work:

  • Perform low-voltage electrical wiring and basic electrical installations.
  • Diagnose minor electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate with engineers for more advanced electrical tasks.

5. Driving & Logistics Support:

  • Transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites as required.
  • Assist with loading/unloading and ensuring safety of goods in transit.
  • Maintain company vehicle in good condition and ensure timely servicing.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License (manual preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Good communication and team collaboration.
  • Time management and ability to work independently.

Working Conditions:

  • On-site job locations (commercial/residential/industrial).
  • May require working overtime, weekends, or on-call depending on project needs.
