Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Software Engineering (70%)
- Lead design and development of geospatial data processing pipelines and AI image analysis systems
- Architect scalable software solutions for satellite imagery, drone data, and vehicle-mounted camera systems
- Develop and deploy computer vision models: object detection, semantic segmentation, automated feature extraction
- Guide engineering team in software development best practices and code quality standards
Client Engagement (30%)
- Serve as primary technical contact for key clients and partners
- Lead technical discussions in client meetings, presentations, and project kickoffs
Software Engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ for production systems
- Experience with software architecture patterns and design principles
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Proficiency in version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
- Database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)
- Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, or similar
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Proven experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Geospatial & AI/ML
- Strong expertise in GIS systems, coordinate systems, and spatial databases (PostGIS)
- Experience with geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, Shapefiles, GeoTIFF)
- Proven experience with AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV
- Hands-on computer vision implementation: object detection, image segmentation
- Knowledge of geospatial libraries: GDAL, Rasterio, Shapely, GeoPandas
