Roles & Responsibilities
- Expertly measure clients to ensure a perfect fit, taking into account individual body shapes and preferences.
- Skillfully alter garments, including resizing, adjusting hems, and modifying patterns to meet specific client needs.
- Consult with clients to understand their style preferences, offering professional advice on fabric choices, designs, and alterations.
- Maintain a well-organized workspace, including tools and equipment, to ensure efficiency and quality in every project.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in tailoring or fashion design is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on tailoring experience in a retail or custom clothing environment.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus to cater to diverse clientele.
- Strong technical skills in sewing, pattern-making, and garment construction are essential for quality workmanship.
