Systems Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to support both our internal IT infrastructure and our clients' IT environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with technologies such as Windows/Linux servers, firewalls, VPNs, VOIP, IP telephony, and SIP-based troubleshooting. Expertise in network analysis using Wireshark and the ability to read protocol packets is essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage infrastructure, servers, PCs, and peripherals for performance, reliability, and security.
2. Analyze and resolve incidents as per SLA; contribute to root cause analysis.
3. Act as liaison with vendors and technical teams for effective service delivery.
4. Fulfill IT service requests, including installations, reconfigurations, and relocations.
5. Maintain accurate documentation and reports for incidents and service reviews.
6. Implement regular maintenance of devices to minimize incidents.
7. Execute LAN/WAN/VPN/WiFi setups following technical procedures.
8. Implement and troubleshoot VOIP/IP telephony and SIP issues.
9. Perform packet analysis using Wireshark for advanced network troubleshooting.
10. Follow proper escalation procedures and suggest process improvements.

Technical Experience

1. Experience as Technical Support, Server/Desktop Support, or Help Desk Technician.
2. Windows and Linux OS administration skills.
3. Firewall and VPN configuration knowledge.
4. Familiarity with VMware environments.
5. VOIP/IP telephony and SIP-based troubleshooting.
6. Packet analysis proficiency using Wireshark.
7. Troubleshooting systems, mobile, and other devices.
8. Remote desktop and help desk software familiarity.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
4. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
5. Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, Fortinet, SonicWALL, VMware are a plus.
6. Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
7. Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
