Roles & Responsibilities

Desired Candidate Profile

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise daily warehouse activities in the Furniture Department, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space while maintaining high inventory accuracy.
• Monitor stock movement and ensure adherence to operational SLAs.

Supply Chain Systems & Reporting

• Extract, analyze, and monitor daily operational reports.
• Utilize supply chain portals and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and workflows.
• Provide system training and operational support to team members.

Technology & Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to implement technology-driven improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze operational data to generate actionable insights for performance improvement.

Innovative Problem-Solving

• Apply design-thinking principles to resolve operational challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new workflows and process enhancements.

Distribution & Logistics

• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of furniture products.
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure customer delivery commitments are met.

Team Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse associates to ensure high productivity.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular coaching and development.

Qualifications & Skills (Internal Candidates)

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within furniture or similar industries.
• Age below 35 years.

Technical Skills

• MS Office and Advanced Excel
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Preferred:
• Power Query, Power BI, Python, SAS
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and analytics
