Job Description

As a Store Manager in the dynamic world of sports retail, you are at the forefront of delivering the ultimate customer experience. In this role, you will oversee a team dedicated to providing superior service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your leadership will be integral in driving sales, optimizing store operations, and fostering a motivating environment that promotes teamwork and reach store targets. You will be responsible for managing budgets, recruiting, training staff, and building a highly efficient store team. Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team to achieve store sales and profitability targets.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the store's customer engagement and experience.
  • Manage inventory, including product ordering, merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards to align with brand guidelines and promotions.
  • Train, develop, and motivate store staff to reach their personal and professional potential.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and expectations.
  • Oversee budgetary controls including staffing costs, resource allocation, and expenditure.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures for store operations.
  • Manage customer feedback and resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to implement promotional events in-store.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a retail management position, preferably in sports retail.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and staff.
  • Proficiency in using retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexible to work during retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
