Job description:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 + years’ experience in the UAE fit-out industry, with a solid understanding of pricing, tendering, and cost estimation specific to interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand project scope.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
- Evaluate material, labor, and time requirements.
- Assist in preparing tender submissions and presentations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, materials, and suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement, and design teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE-based experience in fit-out estimation (mandatory).
- Only candidates with interior fit-out experience will be shortlisted.
- Strong knowledge of local suppliers, materials, and pricing trends.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software/tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
