Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations, to diagnose gastrointestinal disorders accurately.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and lab results, to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons and nutritionists, to provide holistic care for patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, preventative strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical research and trials, contributing to advancements in gastroenterology and improving patient care protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • DM or DrnB degree in Gastroenterology, preferred with DHA..
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a clinical gastroenterology setting, demonstrating advanced diagnostic and procedural skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a medical center with hospital attachment for surgeries.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Hindi; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for patient interaction.
  • Strong technical skills in endoscopy and imaging interpretation, along with familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
