Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Social Media Executive will assist in executing and managing marketing initiatives that support the overall marketing strategy. This position involves a mix of digital and traditional marketing tasks, including social media management, content creation, email campaigns, event coordination, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with strong organizational skills and a passion for marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (social media, digital ads, email, print).
- Help track campaign performance and suggest improvements based on insights.
- Social Media:
- Manage the company’s social media channels, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and developing content.
- Assist in maintaining the company’s online presence to boost brand visibility.
- Email Marketing:
- Develop, manage, and optimize email marketing campaigns.
- Segment email lists and create personalized content to maximize engagement and conversions.
- Track and report on email campaign performance, making recommendations for improvement.
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in organizing events such as trade shows, webinars, and product launches.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, materials preparation, and vendor relations.
- Promote events through digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Collateral and Materials Development:
- Collaborate with the design team to produce marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and presentation decks.
- Ensure that all marketing materials are aligned.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.
- Organize and maintain marketing databases, campaign calendars, and documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in marketing, communications, or related field (internships or relevant coursework may also be considered).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with marketing tools (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, MailChimp, etc.).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Creative and Analytical Mindset: Ability to think creatively while also using data to inform decisions and improve results.
