Roles & Responsibilities


Purpose of the role

The Social Media Content Strategist translates brand and business objectives into an insight-led, channel-specific content system defining pillars, tone of voice, and a measurable editorial calendar and orchestrates creative, community, and media to deliver it at pace.

They use audience, competitive, and performance data to plan, brief, and continually optimize content so it s consistent, culturally relevant, and tied to outcomes (reach, engagement, consideration, and conversion).

Key Responsibilities And Tasks
Social and Content


Build the social/content strategy and monthly calendar across Meta, X, YouTube/Shorts, TikTok, etc.
Run day-to-day client comms and workflow; brief and QA creative/production.
Write/oversee captions, post copy, and light platform adaptations.
Mentor a team member to handle community management ( 3-4 hrs/day, scaling during launches/issues) and use our scheduling tools.
Mentor the same team member to produce monthly performance reports with clear analysis.
Lead quarterly competitive analysis (social listening + page audits) with recommendations.

General
Support the regional leadership team on relevant projects and initiatives


Be a cultural ambassador for the team and agency; promoting initiatives internally and externally; showcasing activities and achievements internally and on social media

Attend agency and industry events as appropriate to represent the agency

Seek ways to increase knowledge for self-improvement and to improve the team s ability to deliver results

Proactive suggestions for new processes and tools to improve efficiency and performance of the team
Regular travel to various LEWIS office across the network
About You


3 5 years in social/content strategy (agency or brand); tech/consumer electronics a plus.
Strong Arabic & English writing; culturally tuned for GCC/MENA.
Proven content planning, briefing, and stakeholder management.
Comfortable with analytics/listening tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, native)

Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in social/content strategy, preferably in tech or consumer electronics.
