Job Description

As a Senior Video Editor, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw footage into compelling and engaging visual stories. You will work closely with our creative team to develop and produce high-quality video content across various platforms and formats. Your expertise in editing, storytelling, and visual effects will help enhance our brand's message and captivate our audience. You should be able to work independently yet collaborate effectively with directors, producers, and content strategists to meet project goals. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a creative mindset, and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently while ensuring deadlines are met.


Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with directors and producers to develop post-production concepts and projects.
  • Edit raw footage and transitions to create cohesive and compelling video content.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging strategy.
  • Integrate visual effects and graphic elements to enhance storytelling and engagement.
  • Review and analyze final video edits to ensure quality control before release.
  • Work with sound designers and music editors to synchronize audio with video effectively.
  • Maintain an organized archive of project files and editing assets for future use.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new editing techniques as needed.
  • Coordinate with the content strategy team to align video projects with marketing goals.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior editors and interns as needed.
  • Collaborate on content ideation and scripting to assist in pre-production phases.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least five years of professional experience in video editing or film production.
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong understanding of motion graphics, color grading, and visual effects software.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and details.
  • Solid experience with digital file management and video archiving systems.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects and editing styles is required.
