Job Purpose:

We are seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer with proven expertise in traffic analysis, microsimulation, and transportation planning using tools such as SIDRA, VISSIM, and other relevant software. The ideal candidate will support infrastructure and road projects in line with Dubai RTA standards, ensuring the delivery of efficient, safe, and sustainable transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) in compliance with Dubai RTA guidelines.
• Perform intersection analysis, capacity assessments, and LOS evaluations using SIDRA and VISSIM.
• Conduct traffic signal design and optimization.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients and regulatory authorities.
• Support road safety audits and review junction and road designs.
• Coordinate with urban planners, infrastructure engineers, and RTA stakeholders.
• Review consultantsubmissions for alignment with Dubai traffic and transport regulations.
• Mentor junior traffic engineers and assist in multidisciplinary project coordination.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of relevant traffic engineering experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with SIDRA Intersection, VISSIM, and related microsimulation tools.
• Strong familiarity with Dubai RTA standards, TIS procedures, and approval processes.
• Skilled in traffic signal design, simulation, and capacity analysis.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• PE license or Chartered Engineer status is an advantage.
